Calretinin

    Lung/Mediastinum Pathology
    ZM85 Monospecific Mouse Monoclonal

Zeta Calretinin Antibody.  Zeta’s mouse recombinant antibody recognizes a protein of about 29kDa, which is identified as Calretinin (also known as Calbindin 2). Calretinin is a vitamin D-dependent calcium-binding protein involved in calcium signaling. Calretin is present in subsets of neurons throughout the brain and spinal cord, including sensory ganglia. Zeta’s monoclonal antibody to Calretinin is useful in differentiating mesothelioma from adenocarcinomas of the lung.  The antibody to Calretinin also aids in differentiating adrenal cortical neoplasms from pheochromocytomas.

Zeta Corporation is a leader in recombinant monoclonal IVD antibodies for immunohistochemistry (IHC) offering 400+ tumor and tissue specific relevant products developed by a pathologist for pathologists.  Visit Precision Recombinant Antibodies – IVD Antibodies – About Zeta Corporation (zeta-corp.com) to learn more about Zeta Corporation.
