    Zeta SS18-SSX Antibody.  Zeta’s recombinant rabbit antibody recognizes SS18, a protein that is a part of the SWI/SNF complex. The SS18-SSX (t(X;18)(p11.2;q11.2) fusion proteins are a result of in-frame fusions that fuse the SS18 gene on chromosome 18 with X chromosome genes SSX1SSX2, and to a lesser extent SSX4. This specific gene fusion is commonly associated with (>90%) synovial sarcoma. The immunohistochemical demonstration of nuclear SSX-SS18 fusion expression is diagnostic of synovial sarcoma.
